Gen-Z PAWA is an online platform that archives the events, and moments of the Gen Z revolution.
We shall use photography and other media as a tool to inspire more social change. The website will highlight stories, and videos from the streets during the Gen Z revolution.

Based on the adage ‘a picture is worth a thousand words’ we want to ensure the events, narratives and stories of the June-July protest are never forgotten.
The Power of Citizen Journalism
The need to make use of citizen journalism cannot be overemphasized, and through Gem Z PAWA, we seek to make citizens aware of the power they hold with their small digital or phone cameras by having the images they shot in a permanent digital repository.
These simple tools provide the opportunity to empower citizens to capture images that highlight societal problems, and therefore to advocate for social change. The most powerful tool in the world is a camera - it has been used to bring down dictators, change society and influence change. We will use photography and other emerging technologies as the medium to achieve real, meaningful change in Kenya and the rest of Africa.
